Quick answer

What do the PanamaRegistrar terms say in short?

You register domains through DomaineGoat LLC (Panama), which works with an ICANN-accredited registrar partner, and pay in crypto from a prepaid balance. We act on Panamanian court orders, not on unverified complaints; the strict exceptions (phishing, malware, botnets, child abuse material, fraud) lead to suspension. ICANN and registry rules also apply. Panamanian law governs; version of 19 October 2026.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

PanamaRegistrar is a brand of DomaineGoat LLC, a company incorporated in Panama ("we"). DomaineGoat LLC holds no ICANN accreditation of its own. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner. Our Panamanian rules govern what DomaineGoat LLC does with your account, the data it holds and the complaints sent to it. These terms apply to every account and every domain registered, renewed or transferred through panamaregistrar.com and its client area ("you"). They include, by reference, the acceptable use policy, the takedown procedure, the data disclosure rules and the privacy policy.

2. Your account and the registrant email

2.1 An account is identified by a random account number. The only contact data we collect is the email of each domain (2.2). We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or an identity document.

2.2 Each domain needs one email address that you confirm; it is required. ICANN rules require the registrant's contact to be verified within 15 days of a registration, a transfer or a change; a domain whose email is not confirmed in time can be suspended until it is.

2.3 You keep your account credentials safe. We never ask for your password, your account number or your transfer codes by email or chat.

2.4 Any detail you give us, starting with the email, must be true. A false detail given on purpose is a breach of these terms and of ICANN rules, and in several countries it weighs against you in court.

3. Registration, privacy and the registries

3.1 A domain is registered when the registry accepts it. Availability shown before the order is indicative; some registries confirm it only when the order is placed.

3.2 By default you are the registrant of record. Where the extension allows a privacy service, the public WHOIS/RDAP shows our privacy contact instead of your details, at no charge; what stays public depends on each registry. Messages sent to that contact are forwarded to your verified email; spam and bulk mail are not forwarded.

3.3 Each registry applies its own policies and the law of its own country. Its decisions bind every registrar, including our registrar partner, and therefore us. Our registrar partner keeps its own legal duties and abuse contact. The country of each registry is listed in the registry jurisdiction index.

3.4 You accept the registrants' rights and responsibilities published by ICANN for generic top-level domains, and the registration policy of each country-code registry you choose.

4. Domain protection

4.1 Domain protection is an option at $29 per year and per domain, on top of the domain price. Some extensions (.de, .uk, .nl, .cc, .to, .ch, .pl, .be, .at, .cz, .nz, .fi) are sold only with it. Added to an existing domain, or on a transfer in for the time already paid elsewhere, it is first charged pro rata, as the checkout shows; nothing already paid for it is refunded.

4.2 With Domain protection: (a) DomaineGoat LLC is the registrant of record and the registry and WHOIS/RDAP show our company, not you; (b) a transfer lock is on by default and any transfer or DNS change must be confirmed from your account; (c) your data is kept to a minimum: we hold only your email, released only as set out in 6; (d) every complaint is read by a person before any action on the domain, and you are told when the law allows it. Point (d) applies only to domains with Domain protection.

4.3 You remain the beneficial owner. You control the domain (DNS, nameservers, renewal), you can obtain the transfer code free, and on request we put the domain back in your own name, free, where the registry accepts you as holder.

4.4 As registrant of record, our company is named in disputes about the domain, including UDRP and URS complaints. We tell you, and you can answer them. ICANN's Registrar Accreditation Agreement (section 3.7.7.3) makes a registrant of record that licenses a domain to another person liable for harm unless it discloses that person's contact details when presented with reasonable evidence of actionable harm; our disclosure rule remains the one set out in 6, and the only contact detail we hold is your verified email.

4.5 Domain protection does not change the acceptable use policy or the strict exceptions in 7.

5. Prices, payment and renewals

5.1 Prices are in US dollars per year and are listed on the pricing page and in pricing.json. The first year, the renewal and a transfer of a given extension cost the same, unless the page says otherwise.

5.2 You pay in crypto (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC) by topping up a prepaid balance of at least $25. A top-up is credited after the network confirmations shown on the payment page. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new domains, renewals and transfers. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it.

5.3 A renewal is paid from your balance at the price shown on the day it is paid. If your balance is too low on the expiry date, the domain is not renewed. Registries apply their own grace and redemption periods after expiry; a restore during redemption is charged at the registry's restore fee.

5.4 Registries can raise their prices. We publish a new price, with its date, before it applies to a renewal.

6. Complaints, court orders and disclosure

6.1 A complaint alone does not lead to the suspension of a domain. Complaints about copyright, defamation, political content, or from a competitor need a decision that binds us, such as a decision from a Panamanian court. Without Domain protection, complaints follow the abuse policy. A foreign judgment is applied once it has been recognised in Panama.

6.2 We release the data we hold only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. The prosecutor's orders concerned are Ministerio Público data preservation or production orders under articles 338-A and 338-C of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Ley 478 of 4 August 2025). Our rule: we confirm every order with the court or prosecutor's office that issued it, through its official contact details, before acting. Foreign authorities reach us through Panamanian legal process only. Bulk requests are refused.

6.3 The ICANN duties of our accredited registrar partner continue to apply: registration data escrow, compliance audits by ICANN, and the UDRP and URS for trademark disputes.

6.4 We tell you before any action on your domain, unless the law or the court order forbids it. The procedure, step by step, is on the takedown procedure page.

7. Abuse and suspension

7.1 You must not use a domain for phishing (including pharming), malware, botnets, child sexual abuse material, or fraud that takes money from victims (fake shops, investment and crypto scams, wallet drainers, impersonation of a bank or brand, sale of stolen data). Spam that carries these is treated the same way.

7.2 We suspend the domain within 24 hours of a well-documented report; child sexual abuse material is handled immediately, and the URLs are reported to NCMEC. We tell you what was reported and how to answer it.

7.3 We can close an account that registers domains for these purposes. The balance of a closed account is not refunded where it was funded by fraud.

8. Transfers

8.1 The transfer code (auth code) is free, from your account, at any time. There is no exit fee.

8.2 ICANN rules and registry rules can block a transfer for a limited time. Under ICANN's Transfer Policy, a transfer to another registrar can be refused in the 60 days after a registration or a previous transfer, and a change of registrant can lock transfers for 60 days unless the opt-out allowed by that policy is used. A UDRP or URS proceeding, or a court order, also blocks transfers.

8.3 A transfer in costs the transfer price of the extension. For a generic extension (.com, .net, .org…) it adds one year to the registration; for a country-code extension, whether a year is added depends on its registry.

9. Disputes about domain names

Trademark disputes about generic top-level domains follow the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and, for new generic top-level domains, the Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS). Country-code domains follow their registry's dispute policy. We lock the domain when a dispute provider asks, within 2 business days, give the provider the registrant details it is entitled to, tell you, and apply the decision. The UDRP and URS page has the details.

10. Liability

10.1 We provide the registration service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for the content of your website or email, for the decisions of a registry, a court or a dispute provider, or for the loss of a domain you did not renew.

10.2 To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for a domain is limited to the amount you paid for that domain during the current registration period.

10.3 Nothing in these terms limits a liability that Panamanian law does not allow to be limited.

11. If we stop operating

Our registrar partner deposits the registration data of generic top-level domains in escrow under ICANN rules, so that another accredited registrar can take over the domains if a registrar ceases to operate. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before closing the service on our own decision, with your transfer codes available during that time.

12. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Any dispute between you and DomaineGoat LLC about them is decided by the competent courts of the city of Panama, unless a mandatory rule of law gives you another court. This does not affect the UDRP, the URS or a registry's dispute policy, which apply on their own terms.

13. Changes and contact

We can change these terms. The new version is published on this page with its date, and it applies to renewals and orders made after that date; a change to the procedure in 6 is also announced by email to every customer at least 30 days before it applies. Questions: [email protected]. Legal notices: [email protected], subject "Legal request".
